The Cidery is the first of its kind in Iowa built in a post and beam building adjacent to its apple orchard with over 30 varieties of heirloom, cider, and dessert apple trees. The site also boasts some beautiful scenery. The spacious tasting room at the Cidery is comfortable and informal with vaulted ceilings and wood floors, or you might enjoy the view of the orchard and country side from the roomy outside deck. It’s the perfect location to enjoy a taste of the heartland with your friends and family!

Hi Winterset Cidery friends!
It’s Kalee here, representing the Findlay Family!
We are excited to be the new owners of Winterset Cidery. We purchased the cidery in February 2025 and have been planning for our season opening.
My parents, Nathan and Jen, have been married for over 31 years and grew up in central Iowa! High school sweethearts turned parents, grandparents and now empty nesters. My brother, Connor, and I are enjoying our adult years while chasing around little ones. As a family of four, which quickly grew to a family of 10, we’ve shared a love for the outdoors, good company, and building lasting memories.
We’re excited to spend time in the orchard and create moments that are truly special—and, of course, to make cider! We will continue the tradition of crafting delicious, locally made cider at Winterset Cidery.
We recognize that this beautiful cidery has been a place for friends, families, and cider enthusiasts to enjoy the best Iowa has to offer. We are thrilled to welcome you and can’t wait to meet you.
